Dear Leanne Olson,
I recently came across your book – A Cruel Paradise – and wanted to thank you for writing it. I just finished reading it last week, and found it so very vivid – a “you are there” quality that no doubt comes from the fact that the book primarily comes from your journals. You are one brave girl!
Coincidently I read an ad about MSF’s “Refuge Camp in the City” event in Toronto. I visited the “camp” today and promised a volunteer at the event that I’d email info to her about your book. When I googled you – there you were, right on the event’s website!
Welcome to Toronto, Leanne, and congratulations on your baby boy. I’m very happy for you.
