I am a German national and was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to diplomat parents. I grew up in Austria, Turkey and the Philippines. After running my own business for a time, I applied for MSF and began work in the Democratic Republic of Congo and India, where I worked as a logistician. After briefly diverting into archaeology, I returned to MSF and work in Haiti and Central African Republic as part of the Country Management Team. With my newborn, my family is living in Toronto where I continue my work with MSF as HRM Field Advisor.
