I am a physician with 40 years of experience. My main areas of practice are emergency and family medicine with a focus on stress management, medico-legal and public health issues, and I am interested in disaster response and stress experienced by first responders and physicians. I was lead physician in the management of evacuees during the Akwasanee conflict, and have worked with MSF since 2005, in Liberia, South Sudan, India and Kenya. I also assisted Inuit communities in Canada during the H1N1 crisis. Currently I am involved in Inuit health and am volunteering with the Coordinator Peer Support Network.
