I am originally from Côte d’Ivoire, where I studied medicine, and am now living in Canada. During Côte d’Ivoire’s military-political crisis in 2002, the country was split into rebel and governmental zones and saw a major influx of NGO’s doing relief work. I joined MSF’s team in 2003 to assist with their efforts among war-affected populations
